Fermented in 1-ton bins for about 7 days, and pressed before fermentation was complete. Aged in 2 to 3-year old French oak barrels for 10 months. Cases produced 198. |

A Bordeaux style blend of roughly equal amounts of Virginia Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot, harvested in 2006 and 2007. Bold tannins, deep fruitiness, ruby-colored and full-bodied, this wine wraps around your palate with characteristic French oak, black raspberry, black cherry, and sage. Excellent with rich Italian red sauces over pasta, or a grilled steak with shiitake mushrooms. Perfect for a cigar with a companion. Wine pressed after fermentation to dryness, and aged in French Oak for 12-18 months. Cases produced 320. |
