Set on 47 acres in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, North Mountain pairs a European-inspired winery with 15 acres of producing vines, distinctive limestone and sandstone soils, and long mountain views.
The tasting room, Great Room, decks, lawns, and vineyard views invite relaxed flights, bottles with friends, and gatherings that feel at home in the valley.

One of the most exciting times of the year is here! Veraison is the stage when our grapes begin changing from green to their beautiful shades of red, purple, and gold. It marks the beginning of the ripening process and lets us know that harvest is getting closer.
Every cluster you see in the vineyard has been months in the making, and over the next several weeks, our team will be carefully watching the vines as the fruit develops its flavors, sugars, and character.
